Will my driver/guide speak English fluently?
Yes! All Ancient Greece Tours driver/guides are native English and Greek speakers. They all have Greek history background and they will share their knowledge in local history and culture with you, as well as answer any questions you may have. Plus, since they speak the local language, they will help you meet and connect with locals.
What type of vehicles do you operate?
According to the passengers’ number, we will provide you with the vehicle that best fits your needs: a luxury brand new black sedan, Mercedes E Class for up to 3 passengers, a luxury modern minivan Mercedes Vito Extra-long for groups of up to 8. For larger groups, a combination of vehicles or a luxurious minibus will be used, according to the itinerary. You can see the exact prices on the booking page including all the costs (transportation, fuel charge, tolls, taxes). Depending on availability, you may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge.
Will there be room for my luggage?
Yes, our vehicles can accommodate your luggage in case you want to have them with you, or you book a multi-day tour. Please let us know if you have oversized luggage and we will help you upgrade to a larger vehicle.
Can I book a tour now and add a stop later?
Our tours are flexible and focus on your pleasure and leisure. You can let your personal driver/guide know your preferences and he will make them happen. If you wish to make a bigger detour some extra cost may apply.
Will my driver call me to confirm pick-up?
At the time of booking you will receive a confirmation email with all the information necessary (your driver’s name and mobile number, pickup location etc.). 24 hours before the scheduled tour you will receive a reminder of your scheduled tour. Your driver/guide will meet you at the agreed time and location on the day of the tour and your adventure will begin!
What's included in the price? Are there any additional fees?
The quoted price is final and there are no additional fees for our services. However, attraction fees, entrance fees and lunch/dinner expenses are not included in the price. Rest assured there will be no surprises or additional fees from Ancient Greece Tours.
Where will my driver pick me up?
Your driver can pick you up from Athens International Airport, Athens center, Piraeus port, Corinth, Loutraki, all hotels, apartments, or any other pick-up points accessible by car at these regions. This applies to your drop-off location as well. No need to worry about buses, cabs, or other connections – Ancient Greece Tours provides a true door-to-door experience!
Can I customize my itinerary?
If your desired destination is not listed on our website as a tour or you need to make changes in an existent tour, please send us an email to email@example.com. We will send you a day-by-day itinerary including accommodation based on your preferences and interests.
Is it safe to travel with Ancient Greece Tours?
All our drivers have excellent driving records and are licensed by the local authorities and Ministry of Tourism. Our fleet consists of brand-new Black Edition Vehicles with all the latest features and amenities. All you have to do is kick back and enjoy the ride!
Will my driver/guide accompany me inside the archaeological sites and museums?
Although all our driver/guides have historical backgrounds and experience on the covered locations and sites and they will share with you all the historical and cultural information upon arrival, they are bound by the Greek legislation that forbids the driver/guides to also be tourist guides and accompany you inside the sites and museums. If however, you wish to have a licensed tourist guide walk you inside the sites and museums which are self explanatory, we can arrange that for you at extra cost.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Sure, you can! Just let us know in advance if you will be travelling with your lovely pet, so we can ensure there will be enough room for you, your pet, and your luggage in t
How Can I Pay?
You can pay online in our safe checkout environment, via credit card. You can pay for the full amount of your private experience or by providing a 20% deposit to confirm your booking. The rest of the amount can be paid upon completion of your private experience by cash or credit card to your driver/guide. We have POS systems to all our cars, so there’s nothing to worry about!
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your trip for any reason, just send us an email in firstname.lastname@example.org. We understand that travel plans can change, and we currently don’t charge a fee for cancellations made outside of 24 hours before the service date and time. If however, you need to cancel your tour within 24 hours, 100% cancellation fees will occur. You can read more in our Bookings Terms and Conditions.
Is gratuity included/expected?
Gratuity is not expected or requested, however appreciated. Instead, if you are satisfied with your experience, we prefer you take some time and write us your feedback and review in our TripAdvisor page.
Are your cars smoke-free?
We give value to your excellent experience. Therefore, all our cars are smoke free, clean and kept in perfect condition to accommodate you.
